Dear Dassa McKinney Elementary School Community,
I am writing to inform you about an important facilities update at our elementary school building. Recently, we have experienced issues with the existing water well, which has begun to dry up and is no longer able to reliably meet the building’s needs. Please note, there is nothing wrong with our current water supply. We undergo testing every week and submit those results to the state, and we have no concerns with the testing results. The only issue we are facing is that we may soon run out of water.
To ensure a safe and consistent water supply for our students and staff, we will be drilling a new well on the elementary school property. This step is necessary to maintain proper operations, including drinking water access, sanitation, and food service.
For more information, please read the well-drilling information letter in its entirety.
