Emergency Drills

Throughout the 2025–2026 school year, we will conduct several emergency drills with all Dassa McKinney Elementary School faculty, staff, and students.

Career Readiness Classes

Dassa McKinney Elementary School will continue to provide Career Readiness/Social Emotional Learning (SEL) classes within the fourth through sixth grades.

Fire Prevention Week

The goal of Fire Prevention Month (and the week of October 5–11) is to raise fire safety awareness and help protect homes and families.

New ParentSquare Communications

We are excited to announce that we have adopted a new form of school-to-home communication at Dassa McKinney Elementary School called ParentSquare. As of July 14, ParentSquare has replaced Class DOJO
